1. How do I apply as a volunteer?
You can send us an e-mail or give a call. Your contribution will depend on what you can and want to do, and will also depend on our current needs. Our only requirement is that you make a commitment to being available for the duration of one project (one year).

2. What is expected of me as a volunteer?
Anything from practical help spreading information or fund raising to brainstorming about strategy. It all depends on what you know and what you are able to do.

3. Can I go with Cre8 as a volunteer to Africa/Kenya?
Only when there is no other option do we take people from the Netherlands to Kenya. We work as much as possible with local people. Travelling to Kenya at your own expense is of course always a possibility. But we would like to discuss it with you first.

4. How does Cre8 choose the locations for her projects?
We ask ourselves the following questions:
Is there a demand (and a need) for a Cre8 project?
Is it feasible and does it fit with the vision, mission and capacity of the organisation?

5. How does your organisation differ from other development organisations?
We are a demand driven, small-scale organisation with a minimum on overhead and at unexpected locations. Moreover, we work with arts and culture for their intrinsic and extrinsic qualities.

6. Do you work with other organisations?
We work closely with local partners and organisations.

7. How do you guarantee that the projects have a follow up in the (African) community?
By working intensively with local partners committed to continuing the projects.

8. How can I financially support the organisation?
Through a one-off (sponsor) contribution, through periodic (friends of Cre8) contributions or by helping us to acquire sponsor funding (fund raising).

9. How much of my contribution to Cre8 goes directly to the projects?
Nearly all of it. A small part of the total budget (5 %) goes to maintaining the website and administrative costs.
