Musical theater with Tanzanian street children

Cre8 is going to Tanzania in June. Mkombozi centre for street children has invited Cre8 to organise a project with their children. Together with 50 street children and ex-street children we will work towards an acrobatic musical theatre production in which the children can tell their story.
These children will learn much more than a few acts for this production alone; the project aims to give the children lasting skills which they can use to improve their lives. They can later earn their living with the acrobatic and theatre skills they develop through this project.
In Tanzania and neighbouring countries they will give performances which engage the local population and confront them with the problems surrounding children who live on the street.
